The Life Skills Co. was founded by Stephanie Angelides, a family life educator, disability advocate and mother of a child with significant support needs. Drawing on lived experience, professional education and years of navigating everyday skill-building at home, Stephanie created The Life Skills Co. to address a gap she saw repeatedly: families are often given recommendations, but far less support turning those recommendations into everyday routines that actually work.
Stephanie is pursuing the Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) credential through the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR). Her work draws on principles of family life education to bring education beyond workshops and into the environments where everyday skills and routines are actually practiced.
The Life Skills Co. combines family education, practical tools and hands-on implementation to help families build systems around personal care, hygiene, household responsibilities and other everyday life skills. The model is designed to complement—not replace—clinical, therapeutic or educational services by helping families translate recommendations and goals into daily routines that work in real life.
